Biography
Eric joined Hanna Commercial in August of 2019 as Vice President. Mr. Lamm has a long history in Western Pennsylvania commercial real estate brokerage and development.
A native of Pittsburgh, Mr. Lamm started his real estate career with Beynon & Company directly after graduating from Duquesne University in 1989. Three years later in 1991, his first go round with Langholz/Wilson & Associates began when he joined the original iteration of the current Hanna Commercial. During his nine years with L/W & Associates, Mr. Lamm worked with various preferred developers, land owners, and retailers such as Whole Foods, Children’s Place, Payless Shoes, and Media Play. He worked closely with Kevin Langholz in the commercial vacant land acquisitions for development including The Waterfront in Homestead, Strabane Square, and Cranberry Commons.
Eric spent 14 years with Creative Real Estate Development Company based in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania where he held the position of Executive Vice President. At Creative, he collaborated exclusively with the managing principal to strategically identify land or buildings that would compliment the company’s existing real estate holdings. Eric was responsible for sales, leasing, management, financing, property acquisition and development of residential subdivisions, office, retail, and hotel properties. The residential subdivision lots developed are in excess of 1,200. He co-managed the disposition of five hotels which included; Three Hampton Inns, a Marriott Residence Inn and a Holiday Inn Express. Assisted in the development and financing of a Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn and Suites and a Hilton Home2. Eric was integral in the assemblage of 55 acres of land for the Village of Cranberry Woods which is contiguous to the Westinghouse Nuclear Energy Headquarters in Cranberry Township.
In 2014, Mr. Lamm founded his own development firm, Barchetta Development Group. With Barchetta, Mr. Lamm identified underperforming properties and turned them around to achieve their highest potential. Eric secured tenants which included; UPMC, Sheetz and the United States Air Force. Completed a sale lease back with Citizens Bank and co-managed the financing, complete renovation and leasing of the historic Kaufman House Hotel in Zelienople, Pennsylvania.
Education & Licensure
Eric graduated from Duquesne University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and a concentration in real estate.
Awards & Achievement
Eric was named Top Producer at Langholz/Wilson & Associates for 1998. Successfully completed the required classes to sit for the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) 1990 – 1991
